Dalton Dogs offer a range of services tailored to the individual needs and requirements of your dog. Please turn to the heading entitled “THE “small” PRINT” for requirements needed for your dog before it comes along, for example: Vaccination details, Emergency contact details, Insurance details (if any) etc etc.

We are situated in North Dalton, a small village on the Yorkshire Wolds and have the benefit of some of the most beautiful walks on our doorstep.

We like to discuss with you your dog’s routine and stringently follow this so as not to disrupt what they are used to. We provide all toys and balls for playtime in the garden unless they prefer to bring their own favourite toys.

Unless otherwise requested our dogs get two long walks per day and, if required, a short walk before bedtime. We have planned a variety of walks across the Wolds, which consist of one hour walks, minimum, in various locations for the more energetic dog, and shorter walks/strolls (30 mins approximately depending on dog) for the elderly and slightly less energetic dogs.

Our dogs leave here having been groomed and bathed if necessary and all their own bedding washed. Should your dog not have their own bedding, we can supply this.

We would require that your dog comes here before the date of arrival so that both your dog(s) and yourselves can meet our own dog Rosie and familiarise yourselves with the surroundings. Our full terms and conditions will be given to you at this point which should be completed and signed and brought with you when you arrive.
