Leaving your dog with any one new is always a worry but when we went to meet Jill Daisy took to her straight away. Jill was very friendly and Daisy made herself at home. I was very happy to leave her when we went away and Jill kept in touch with photos and let us know she was happy. I have no hesitation in recommending Jill , your dog will in safe friendly hands!

Really glad to have found Jill. Our 14 years young Labrador Charlie just spent a week with Jill, and we found that the home boarding gives him a chance to potter about as at home as well as having several walks a day, so is the perfect situation for him in his old age. She really cares about the dogs, and is so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!!

A lovely lady, who is so flexible, accommodating and has a genuine love of dogs. William regularly goes for day boards and loves to be with Jill and Rosie (Jill’s own dog). We can leave William knowing that when we arrive to collect him – he’s been in safe hands and that he’s had plenty of walks and attention throughout the day. Whilst William has not yet had the opportunity to stay over night, we can highly recommend Jill (and Rosie) for day boarding. Thank you so much Jill and Rosie – see you soon.

Just collected Frankie my hungarian vizsala from Jill. Frankie returned relaxed obviously well walked and cared for from her little holiday.I felt she was in very capable safe and knowledgeable hands.
Good to have a homely comfortable place for her to stay. Lovely garden to play in and super walks near by. Great to have updates to see how she is getting on. Many thanks Jill.

I have just collected my two dogs from Jills today and I would describe Jill and her dog boarding service as a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Her love of dogs is obvious, she settles the dogs quickly, she sends regular updates and is attentive to your dogs quirky behaviour. It feels like you’ve just left your dog with a trusted friend or sister. Lovely lady.

We all want the peace of mind that when we have to leave our dogs they will be loved and cared for in a homely environment, Jeez & Nel had a great time. Jill kept us updated with photos of the dogs on their walks which we loved . A lovely lady who is fabulous with dogs and makes them feel at home. We are so pleased we have found Jill and would highly recommend her.

I found Jill by pure chance on Facebook. My rescue dog Blue had never been boarded before but as it was my daughters wedding, a good place had to be found. Being a home boarder myself, I had very high expectations of the care I wanted my fur baby to receive. Jill was very attentive of Blue’s needs and the special care for his quirky nature. We had a pre visit and I was amazed at how quickly Blue settled. Jill is such an enthusiastic dog mummy. She and her dog Rosie are the perfect host for any dog. Her house is a dog heaven, located in fabulous countryside, perfect for long walks. While Blue was in her care, I received regular photographs and updates, which made me feel relaxed and able to enjoy my time away, stressfree. She even forgave Blue for chasing her cat  which I’ m very sorry for, Jill. In her home from home, Blue was allowed to share Jill’s bed, something he loves to do at home when his dad is away.
The only downside to Dalton Dog boarding for me is that it is over an hours drive from where we live. However, for the quality of care Jill gives, it is well worth the drive.

My Cockapoo Eddie has previously stayed at kennels. He never settled and we felt incredibly anxious leaving him. Meeting Jill put us at ease instantly. She took the time to get to know Eddie and sent messages throughout his stay. We felt totally reassured and brought home one worn out cockapoo from what had clearly been a fabulous stay.

Our golden retriever Daniel loved his first visit to Jill yesterday. We felt totally confident in leaving him and he is already looking forward to his overnight stays later in the month! Jill is very welcoming and genuinely loves and cares about the dogs.

Fantastic. Would definitely recommend Jill. Teddy is so happy & well looked after. I love the daily updates & photos. We can go away without any worries about Teddy as we know that he is safe and well looked after. Jill is a lovely lady 

Absolutely excellent. I cannot recommend Jill highly enough. She really gives your dog a good home whilst you are away. We had only had our dog a couple of weeks and Jill gave regular updates and photos. You can tell our dog Gertrude was really happy there. I will definitely use her again xx

Jill looks after our two springer spaniels Poppy and Jess on a regular basis and we would be lost without her. We would highly recommend Jill; she is trustworthy, reliable and most importantly is really caring, as well as passionate and knowledgeable about our fluffy friends. When Jill looks after Poppy and Jess we know they they are in great hands, they get fantastic long walks and then super cosy comfort and company by the fire. What a fInd in the beautiful wolds! After too many years of conventional kennels I decided that the whole experience was proving too stressful for Marley (6 year old spaniel) Bringing him to stay with Jill and Rosie was a great decision. From first meeting Jill I knew Marley was in safe hands and would be well looked after – he is a bit of an escape artist and Jill made me feel totally confident that he would remain completely safe. I would not hesitate to recommend Jill and Marley will be back to see her for his next holiday

i have every confidence in Jill who has cared for my elderly labrador,Leila and my young cocker spaniel Zelda on several occasions now. Jill is extremely knowledgeable and is sensitive to the needs and temperaments of both dogs. They are much happier living as part of Jill’s household than they were in a conventional kennels. On collection they are relaxed and look immaculate! Thankyou so much Jill that we can now go away knowing they are in such capable hands

Echo and Koda love going to their second home with their Auntie Jill with their best friend Rosie. They look on Jill’s as their second home and enjoy their stays. They just make themselves at home when they stay ‘move over Rosie I fancy your basket’.

They have a daily walk with Jill and enjoy this with Echo knowing exactly what time she is due to arrive and he’s always ready to go to see what mischief he can get into or which other dogs are out at the same time. Koda is rather more vocal when meeting other dogs but Jill is fully aware of his foibles and both boys love Jill.

I have not problems recommending Dalton Dogs.

I met Jill during a walk around the village. She told me about her service and it was the best chance meeting ever!! Jill is so accommodating and flexible to my needs. Roxie absolutely adores going there and hanging out with her mate Rosie 
Roxie is well walked and Jill sends regular pics and updates. I would highly recommend Jill’s fabulous service. 

We have only praise for Jill! We are so pleased to have found her and we can now go away knowing Alfie and Sheba are having lots of walks and cuddles and getting thoroughly spoilt. Jill sends lots of photos so we can see exactly what they’re getting up to and we can relax knowing they’re being properly cared for.
We would highly recommend her to anyone to looking for a real home from home experience for their dogs.

It is with pleasure that I would like to recommend Jill for the care of your pet. Jill is very experienced,enthusiastic and committed. Her passion for dogs is wonderful. We are very lucky to have found her as we know our Bertie is very well looked after.
Jill has created a very homely atmosphere for the dogs she looks after which provides me with great reassurance about the care they receive.
While Bertie is there is is treated like one of the family; being taken out on long walks daily. I love the fact that Jill sends me regular updates via texts, videos and photos whilst Bertie is with her.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jill as without her 1st class service I would struggle to find anyone else I would have confidence in looking after him. Bertie is the heart of our family and I totally trust Jill with him.
